ITMO Santé Publique organizes its second annual symposium entitled “ « Personalized » medicine and biomedical innovations : public health, economic, ethical and social issues”, the 5th of December in Paris. “Personalized” medicine represents an important axis of the European program Horizon 2020 in the next few years. This second edition of the ITMO Santé Publique symposium is related to this theme gathering researchers and public health operators around public health, economic, ethical and social issues associated to “personalized” medicine and biomedical innovations. This symposium will lead to multidisciplinary exchanges between medical innovations carriers and social sciences, economics, epidemiology and public health researchers.
The day will be organized in three sessions, introduced by conferences, presented by Ruth Chadwick (Cardiff University) and Ivo Gut (Centre Nacional d'Anàlisi Genòmica, Barcelona),
Véronique Thouvenot (Fondation Millennia 2025, Geneva) and Isaac Kohane (Harvard Medical
School), Bartha Knoppers (McGill University, Montréal) and Theresa Marteau (King's College,
London).
The event will allow as well to present the researches in progress in the framework of “Alliance Nationale pour les Sciences de la Vie et de la Santé” and will be closed by a round table chaired by Jean-Paul Moatti (ITMO Santé Publique director). The program is available and inscriptions are open.

The 35th French economists days would take place in Créteil the 5th and 6th of december 2013, and will be organized in collaboration with Erudite (Paris-East Créteil University).

For the 20 years of the Public Health Database (BDSP), a one-day conference is organized the 28th november 2013, in Rennes, around the topic "What future for the public health web portals?".
Documentation and training uses are evolving really fast, as well as technological environment. How to align the offer of resources with the new needs of knowledge development ? According to BDSP experience, it seems necessary to make the point clear on which challenges are waiting for this kind of tools, proposing a convergence of the perspective of several themes specialists (documentation, internet, instruction).
Two big questions will be approached through conferences, round tables and presentations of French and international experiences :
1) Which evolution for public health databases
2) How to plan a web resources portal destinated to different kinds of health system public
