Report of the OFDT: "New modes of socialization of young adults in public open spaces around alcohol"

The OFDT (French Observatory of Drugs and Drug Addiction) publishes a report on "New modes of socialization of young adults in public open spaces around alcohol." It is taken from a study conducted in summer 2011 by the TREND (Recent Trends and New Drugs) pole of the OFDT and the Charonne association across 5 locations in Paris, with 50 young people aged 17 to 35 years, questioned about their practices, contexts and the characteristics of their alcohol consumption in open environments. This report reflects the heterogeneity of the populations surveyed as places of gatherings and professionals and their motivations statutes.

Health surveillance, pharmacovigilance, information and communication in health but also the confidentiality of personal health data and information quality are all issues that lawyers and health professionals will discuss during the various sessions of the symposium .

Public meeting : Health Inequalities in Europe: Monitoring and prospects shares

The final public meeting of the European Joint Action on health life expectancy (JA: EHLEIS) will be held June 2, 2014 at the Ministry of Health in Paris on the theme: "Health Inequalities in Europe: Monitoring and prospects shares".

Publication of the collective expertise of INSERM "Addictive behavior among adolescents"

The Interministerial Mission for the Fight against Drugs and Drug Addiction (Mildt) asked Inserm to take stock of scientific knowledge on vulnerability of adolescents to use of psychoactive substances for which a risk of addictive behavior is found (alcohol, tobacco, cannabis), but also on their practical vulnerabilities that may become problematic (video games / Internet, gambling and money games). The demand of Mildt also focused on the analysis of prevention strategies and effective intervention for this age group.
