Creation of the CER (Evaluation Committee for Registers)

08 July 2014

InVS (Institut de Veille Sanitaire), Inserm - ITMO Public Health and the INCA (National Cancer Institute) have implemented the CER (Evaluation Committee for Registers).

This committee is composed of eleven qualified persons selected following a call for applications. The CER will be responsible for evaluating the registers, taking into account both their missions of research and monitoring. The procedure will be different from the previous procedure of registers qualification: the repository of quality registers, as well as evaluation methods to implement, will be defined by the committee during the first sessions. The CER will also make proposals for policy records, as required by the epidemiological surveillance and public health research.
