A symposium on "Sexuality, reproduction and environment: contemporary issues in public health" is organized on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Espace Scipion in Paris . This conference is organized on the occasion of the retirement of Professor Alfred Spira, epidemiologist and professor of public health. This meeting will provide an opportunity to examine some contemporary issues in three major research themes and policy issues associated with it, from the perspective of various disciplines of public health.

The APEMAC research unit (Psychological Approaches and Epidemiological Chronic Disease) is organizing a conference entitled "Chronic Diseases, perceived health, issues and prospects", which will take place from 4 to 6 June 2014 at the Faculty of Medicine of Nancy. This international conference will attempt to make the state of the art in these two fields of research, and to identify the challenges and prospects of development associated with them.

Registration fee: 145 euros (free for PhD subject to proof of the laboratory director).

The 3rd meeting of the seminar series "Forms of monitoring in medicine and public health" will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Lyon. It will address the "personalized medicine, progress and limitations."
