This survey completes the epidemiological surveillance plan to different groups composing French population, the cohorts allowing to better understand the factors determining the HIV virus evolution, the clinical trials for the development of new treatments and strategies. It's important to understand the personal and social situation of people living with HIV/aids, and to identify its individual, social and medical determinants, and to update the different dimensions of everyday life: treatment, work, resources, social life, sexuality, familiar life. This to identify what could be improved in caring or social plans to better meet specific needs of men and women, youngh and adults, homo or eterosexuals, French or migrants, or long-standing patients or newly detected infections.
