Database objective | |
Main objective |
Surveillance of infectious diseases through regular automated transfer of biological results from specialist biology laboratories to InVS.
To improve the surveillance of certain infectious diseases already monitored by another system: o To supplement surveillance data from other sources and to estimate completeness (particularly MDO). • To implement a sustainable monitoring system for unmonitored diseases as well as: o Monitoring spatial and temporal trends of targeted pathogens; o Providing individual data; o Contributing to epidemic investigations; o Identifying active movement areas. |
Inclusion criteria | Individuals who have had biological samples taken for the following diseases: measles, chikungunya, dengue fever, tuberculosis, syphilis, Q fever, tick-borne encephalitis, leptospirosis, Lyme disease, psittacosis, toxoplasmosis. (CNIL file in progress for: hepatitis E, hepatitis A, rubella, lead poisoning, gonorrhoea and chlamydia). |
