Database objective
Main objective General objective: to investigate genetic and environmental factors and their impact on asthma, as well as phenotypes associated with bronchial hyperresponsiveness and atopy.
Inclusion criteria - Asthmatic adults between 15 and 64 years of age and children (7-15 year old) born in France, and their parents. Selected family units with at least one blood relation (both parents, or one spouse and one child) in one of the five city "centres". Definition of disease characteristic criteria.
- Case-controls: electoral registers, subjects monitored in surgery (adults + children) or in social security check-up clinics.
