Additional information regarding sample selection. Sample of 48 psychiatric researchers, from private, public or university practices, across 15 French centres. The clinical examination protocol scheduled two main visits: one for selecting major depressive episodes (MDE) and the other for soft bipolarity research.

Main objective To help psychiatrists recognise the full bipolar spectrum.
