| Additional information regarding sample selection. | The investigators were interns under supervised training (at level 1) from various French medical schools. Each intern has been trained to data collection and analysis during a one day and a half centralized seminar, as well as his or her supervising fellow or teacher. All consultations occurring on a given day (or two half-days) per week, on a 5 months synchronous period during their practice training, were registered. If the intern was undergoing training in several surgeries, data have been collected alternately in these university teaching practices. |

| Data collection method | Data have been classified according to the International classification of primary care (ICPC-2, Wonca) and entered into a centralized database, via a Website dedicated to the project. General practice trainers performed an independent appraisal of the transferability of the processes of care for a sample of 20 consultations, and were compensated for it. |
