Main objective | To study the relationship between depression, anxiety (including social phobia), obsessive behaviour and eating symptoms and nutritional status on admission (Body Mass Index (BMI) and extent of weight loss), as well as the duration of the illness. Long-term BMI progress is also included. |
Inclusion criteria |
Mental eating disorder diagnosis (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual IV: DSM-IV);
Young women between 13 and 21 years old; Admitted to adolescent psychiatric unit at the Institute Mutual Montsouris, Paris, France, between 1999 and 2000. |
