Additional information regarding sample selection. Random quota sample of households after post-stratification by age, gender, micro-region, municipality size, and type of habitat; followed by random selection of individuals per household (index person) by Kish method. 1,148 individuals sampled; 1,094 individuals surveyed, including 1,048 index persons; quality of life: 398 individuals (199 CHIK+ and 199 CHIK- matched according to age, sex and residence area.
Database objective
Main objective To determine the knowledge, attitudes, behaviours and practices of the population in Réunion regarding the disease and its prevention; risk factors, medium- and long-term development; to be included in ancillary student studies on Chikungunya virus exposure.
Inclusion criteria - Male and female.
- Aged 15 years old or over.
