Database objective | |
Main objective | Teen suicide attempts (SA) are a significant public health concern that have led to numerous scientific studies, but few involving young adolescents. We studied the epidemiological characteristics and psychological outcome for adolescents that were admitted to a paediatric emergency unit in Marseilles for attempted suicide over 1 year, given the existence of a city hospital network in charge of monitoring these patients. |
Inclusion criteria | All adolescents under 15 years and 3 months old who attended one of three paediatric emergency units in Marseilles for attempted suicide between 01 October 2002 and 31 December 2010 were extensively enrolled in the study. |
