Cohort of 1,000 Households for H1N1 Pandemic Follow-Up

July 09 2015

General objective: To identify individual epidemiological, environmental, immunological, social, genetic and virological risk determinants of infection by influenza A (H1N1) swine-like-(SWL) virus Secondary Objectives: - to describe the impact on public health in terms of morbidity, complications and health care resources for A (H1N1)-SWL infection; - to characterise the “natural” history of the infection and its variability, to determine how it is transmitted; - to study the individual and collective determinants of the variable clinical expressions of the infection; - to study behavioural changes induced by pandemic and assess the level of risk perception and its evolution over time; - to evaluate penetrance, application and effectiveness of control measures in place (treatment, vaccination, barriers); - to characterise the homeotypic and heterotypic immunity of participants, according to age – evaluate herd immunity and to study innate and acquired cellular immunity subsequent to infection by this virus; - To characterise viral diversity and evolutionary mechanisms of virus A (H1N1)-SWL; to study the onset of drug resistance - to build and test anticipation models in real time on the impact of pandemic on the population and to simulate different control scenarios.

Perspective cohort of patients hospitalized for a thromboeolic event (multi-center international study)

July 09 2015

Document the epidemiology of the venous thromboembolic disease, demographic and clinical characteristics of patients, as well as caring and 3 months prognosis (incidence of recurrence of symptomatic thromboembolic events (TVP and EP), fatal or not, incidence of hemorrhages, death, complications. Secondary objective : TVP ET

Residential environment and coronary heart disease

July 09 2015

The main objective of the project is to describe geographical disparities of the coronary risk, to examinate if environment characteristics (socio-demographic factors, physical environment, equipment, services and social interaction environment) are associated to the coronary disease and its risk factors, and to identify the mechanism at work taking into account experiences in the neighbourhoodk, knowledge/beliefs and people's health behaviours.
Secondary objective : generally , Record cohort will allow to study in a comprehensive manner the existing relations between geographic life environment and several health variables (mental health, dental health, health care use).

NephroTest

July 09 2015

General objective: To identify new biomarkers along with environmental and genetic risk factors for chronic kidney disease progression and related complications Secondary objectives: - To describe the natural history of chronic kidney disease in terms of optimised treatment according to international recommendations - To evaluate the realisation and relevance of the recommended objectives (K/DOQI, KDIGO, HAS)
