Database objective
Main objective To study student health problems with a focus on mental health issues; to identify the relationship between socio-demographic characteristics and student perceptions of health and behaviour; student perception and use of health care system; to identify prevention requests in order to refine and develop regional student health-insurance plans and programmes.
Inclusion criteria Students associated with six regional student health-insurance companies: Mutuelle Étudiants de Provence (MEP), Mutuelle Générale des Étudiants de l'Est (MGEL), Société Mutualiste des Étudiants de Bretagne-Atlantique (SMEBA), Société Mutualiste des Étudiants du Nord-Ouest (SMENO) Société Mutualiste des Étudiants de la Région Parisienne (SMEREP), VITTAVI

Data collection method The survey was conducted by an anonymous self-administered questionnaire sent by post and returned by Freepost envelope. Questions covered: sadness and anhedonia; loss of confidence; suicidal thoughts.
