Database objective
Main objective Surveillance of infectious diseases through regular automated transfer of biological results from specialist biology laboratories to InVS.

To improve the surveillance of certain infectious diseases already monitored by another system:
o To supplement surveillance data from other sources and to estimate completeness (particularly MDO).

• To implement a sustainable monitoring system for unmonitored diseases as well as:
o Monitoring spatial and temporal trends of targeted pathogens;
o Providing individual data;
o Contributing to epidemic investigations;
o Identifying active movement areas.
Inclusion criteria Individuals who have had biological samples taken for the following diseases: measles, chikungunya, dengue fever, tuberculosis, syphilis, Q fever, tick-borne encephalitis, leptospirosis, Lyme disease, psittacosis, toxoplasmosis. (CNIL file in progress for: hepatitis E, hepatitis A, rubella, lead poisoning, gonorrhoea and chlamydia).
