| Additional information regarding sample selection. | Sample of 10,000 individuals, representing 882,047 recipients of the minimum integration income (RMI) enrolled in mainland France CAFs on 31 December 1996. The first questioning, streamlined, allowed for the identification of 1,850 individuals who had stopped receiving the minimum integration income (RMI) between December 1996 and September 1997. This first set was completed by a sample of 2,350 recipients, selected from those still receiving government benefits in September. The 4,200 individuals were questioned for a first time in January 1998 and a second time in September 1998. |
