Additional information regarding sample selection. A random sample of 1,340 ambulatory general practitioners were selected from the electronic "Union Régionale des Médecins Libéraux" (Regional Union of Independent Physicians) database.
Database objective
Main objective To assess whether conducting urine-based toxicity screening tests in the general practitioner's surgery improves treatment for drug-substituted patients.
Inclusion criteria General practitioners exclusively practising in ambulatory care in the Midi-Pyrénées region.
