Additional information regarding sample selection. Newborns (NB) from mothers identified as users of at least 2 psychoactive substances at the start of pregnancy; born in Louis-Mourier Maternity Hospital (n=139) or transferred to the neonatal unit (n=31) from another maternity hospital (n=24) or following a home birth (n=7) were identified by at least one of the four units within the hospital from 1999 to 2008: Coordination and medical care team for drug addicts (ECIMUD); tobacco consultation unit; maternity unit and neonatal unit.
Database objective
Main objective To analyse neonatal morbidity in terms of maternal psychoactive substance (PAS) use and within a sociodemographic context.
Inclusion criteria Newborns from mothers who were using at least 2 psychoactive substances at the start of pregnancy.
