Database objective
Main objective The project's general objective is to assess patient sensitivity to ischaemia/reperfusion (size of myocardial infarction, microvascular obstruction lesions, myocardial oedema) and post-conditioning response (ischaemic or pharmacological) in terms of:
- Clinical characteristics: comorbidities (diabetes, hypertension, smoking, heredity, pre-existing ischaemia);
- Biomarkers identified or to be identified (e.g. interleukin 17, angiopoietin-like 4, cyclophilin D).
Inclusion criteria All patients admitted to the cardiac intensive care unit at Louis Pradel Cardiology Hospital (Unit 51, Professor Eric Bonnefoy-Cudraz) for myocardial infarction with ST segment elevation.
