Inclusion criteria Patients admitted to a hospital in Martinique following a stroke.

Details of collected declarative data Rankin Scale (mRS), Barthel Index, Montgomery-Asberg Depression-Rating Scale (MADRS), Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and questionnaire from the French Hypertension Society.
Paraclinical data (detail) CT Scan. All clinical and laboratory data were reported on a special form and included personal data, Siriraj stroke score and Barthel Index at 5 and 9 days following a stroke.
