Database objective : The main objective is to evaluate in the Rhône-Alpes region the incidence of cancers that have an indication eligible for treatment with hadrontherapy by proton or carbon ions. 2010 2012 Collecte des données active Current data collection France Rhône-Alpes Rhône-Alpes Régional individuel individuals Type de tumeurs à identifier: Une liste des principales indications d’hadronthérapie par protons et par ions carbone (Annexe 1 : liste des indications) a été élaborée par des experts à partir des données de la littérature hiérarchisée selon une analyse de type « evidence based medicine » et reposant sur des critères de service médical rendu ou attendu (survie et qualité de vie), (Annexe 2: Méthode de revue de littérature). Critères d’inclusion « Patients » L’étude sera réalisée auprès de sujets adultes et enfants, sans limite d’âge, présentant des indications d’hadronthérapie, dont les dossiers auront pu être discutés par des experts au cours d’une RCP primaire. Les sujets devront présenter un état général et psychologique compatible avec une hadronthérapie (bonne compliance, suivi possible, acceptation du déplacement éventuel) et une absence de co- morbidités menaçant le pronostic vital. Critères d’inclusion « Tumeurs » Les caractéristiques communes aux pathologies à identifier sont les suivantes: Tumeurs inopérables, qui appartiennent à un groupe pathologique reconnu comme radio-résistant, au stade primaire d’évolution (stade locorégional) ou en récidive ou rechute locale, ayant un faible potentiel métastatique ou avec une dissémination M+ contrôlée par les traitements médicaux. Critères d’exclusion Tumeurs : Les mélanomes choroïdiens sont exclus de l’étude. Patients : Etat général ou psychologique non compatibles ou comorbidités menaçantes. Type of tumors to identify: A list of the main indications for hadrontherapy by protons and by carbon ions (Appendix 1: list of indications) was developed by experts using data from literature prioritized according to an ""evidence based medicine"" type analysis and based on rendered or expected service criteria (survival and quality of life), (Appendix 2: Literature review method). Criteria for ""patient"" inclusion The study will be carried out with adult and child subjects, with no age limit, who have indications of hadrontherapy, whose dossiers were able to be discussed by experts at a preliminary pluridisciplinary concertation meeting (RCP). Subjects must have a general and psychological condition that is compatible with hadrontherapy (good compliance, possible follow-up, accept to travel where applicable) and absence of co-morbidities that are life-threatening. Criteria for ""tumor"" inclusion The characteristics common to the pathologies to be identified are as follows: Inoperable tumors, which belong to a pathological group recognized as radio-resistant, at the early stage of development (locoregional stage) or recurring or local relapse, with a low metastatic potential or with an M+ dissemination controlled by medical treatments. Criteria for exclusion Tumors: Choroidal melanomas are excluded from the study. Patients: General or psychological condition that is not compatible or threatening co-morbidities.
